Introduction to Watercolor Course
The uncertainty and spontaneity of the medium, watercolor, is what makes it most attractive. I like to say water is your friend in watercolor painting -"let the water do what it is supposed to do."

"Watercolor is a swim in the metaphysics of life... a mirror of one's character. Let it be unpredictable and colorful." -Anonymous

With artist Kari Del Vecchio you will learn:
-
How to use supplies effectively
-
Different painting techniques
-
Basic color theory and value scales.
-
How to create an abstract whimsical flower painting.

The intention of this course is for you to learn a new way to create that has no mistakes, concentrating on playing with color, focusing on the process of simply creating something, and not on what that something should look like. Not all paintings need to look realistic.
I believe that any form of creative expression is a form of meditation. So if you can relax while having fun, why not do it? Creating art shouldn’t be intimidating. You don’t have to get caught up with the “I can't draw a straight line” phobia. There are many ways to match various elements with different mediums resulting in a lovely outcome, and if you don't like the outcome, we can simply start again.
I invite you to join me for a new way to create that has no mistakes!

I was guided to use 222 as the course fee, the angel number 222 is often interpreted as an affirmation for acceptance and forgiveness.
My interpretation of 222 is… It tells you to not be so hard on yourself and to stop feeling guilty about everything that has happened in your life. Being aware of the powerful symbolism behind the number can help get you back on the right track.
